Investigators arrested a man accused of ramming his car into two police vehicles before fleeing the scene in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday.

Bensalem police officers were responding to a well-being check on Park Avenue and Bristol Pike around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday when they spotted VanDaniel Gossett inside a Cadillac sedan, according to officials. As the officers went to check on him, Gossett repeatedly crashed his car into two police vehicles before fleeing, investigators said.

Neither officer was seriously hurt during the incident.

On Thursday, police announced Gossett was taken into custody. They have not yet revealed the specific charges against him.
