Man Admits Robbing NJ Bank

Federal prosecutors say a central New Jersey man has admitted robbing a bank last year.

Jorge Rodriguez of South River pleaded guilty on Wednesday. He faces up to 20 years behind bars when he's sentenced Sept. 23.

The 46-year-old Rodriguez admitted using a BB air pistol to rob a TD Bank branch in Saddle Brook in April 2013.

He entered the bank wearing a disguise, which included a hat with a dreadlocks wig attached to it. He then handed a bag to a teller and said, "Give me the money or I'll shoot. You have two seconds."

The teller complied and Rodriguez fled the bank with the bag of money, which also included a dye pack. He was captured a short time later, after the dye pack exploded.
