Mad Customer Stabs Philadelphia McDonald's Worker in the Back

Philadelphia police say an irate McDonald's customer stabbed an employee in the back after being told he and a companion had to leave because it was closing time.

Surveillance video released Thursday of the Nov. 3 incident shows the man arguing with the employee near the restaurant's counter before stabbing him outside a side door.

Police say the man then chased the employee through the parking lot of the fast-food joint in the city's Grays Ferry neighborhood.

Police say the employee was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect remains at large. He's described as being in his late 30s to 40 and between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9.

Police say he was wearing a puffy jacket, bluejeans, and black baseball hat.
