Macy’s has decided to terminate its lease at its Suburban Square store in Ardmore, Pa., and will close up sometime next year.
The company occupies three floors totaling 99,725 square feet and is the biggest tenant at the retail center off Montgomery Avenue.
The space opened in 1930 as a Strawbridge & Clothier, which was owned by May Department Stores during the 1990s. Macy’s Inc. bought the department store chain in 2005 and, a year later, rebranded the Suburban Square site as a Macy’s. Read more about this story at PBJ.com.
