We met the Bierig family from Cherry Hill, NJ on our flight. They were going to Tel Aviv to visit Libby's family who they last saw in November. We all boarded the plane with a sense of relief because the cease fire had just been announced.
That peace of mind didn't last long.
At the baggage claim area in Tel Aviv, 14-year-old Jonathan Bierig, who had his cell service working faster than we did, ran over to us and said, "Did you hear? They kidnapped an Israeli soldier."
