The Philadelphia Cultural Fund, a nonprofit organization providing funds to arts-and-cultural organizations, has named its new leader.
Barbara Silzle will be the organization's new executive director, taking over after June Washikita O'Neill stepped down in March. Silzle's role will be effective Aug. 3.
Lois Welk had been interim executive director.
Prior to the Cultural Fund, Silzle lead Dress for Success Philadelphia for two years, was on the board of directors of the Valentine Foundation and served as executive director of the Leeway Foundation.
