Brian Bowyer of Egg Harbor Township faces theft and drug charges after he allegedly took about $162 from a collection box at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Wabash Avenue.

Police had responded to the report of a theft when a patrolman located a person fitting the description of the alleged thief given by witnesses traveling southbound on New Road, according to Linwood Police.
