Several lightning strikes were reported across the region on Wednesday as heavy rain and storms moved through the area.
A fire broke out at a home on the 100 block of Raven Hollow Drive in Montgomery Township, Pa. around 7:30 p.m. A family of four managed to escape the flames and are currently being assisted by the Red Cross.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire was storm-related though they have not yet confirmed whether the home was struck by lightning.
There was also a report of a person being struck by lightning along the 1700 block of Langhorne-Yardley Road in Langhorne, Bucks County, though this has not yet been confirmed by fire officials.

Other homes were also reportedly struck by lightning in Harleysville, Montgomery County, Bellmawr, Camden County, and Bensalem, Bucks County.
