Elderly Doc Indicted on Sex Charges

Del. doctor faces 20 charges including unlawful sexual contact and sexual harassment

The Delaware Attorney General's Office indicted an 84-year-old Newark, Del. doctor of unlawful sexual acts with six victims including patients.

Newark Police arrested Dr. Pierre Leroy of E. Main Street back in May on five counts of unlawful sexual contact after a 35-year-old woman claimed in April that Leroy made unlawful sexual contact with her during an examination

After that report, cops investigated Leroy and eventually arrested him.

After further investigation, the state AG announced Monday that they had indicted Leroy on 11 counts of unlawful sexual contact, three counts of attempted unlawful sexual contact and six counts of sexual harassment involving six total alleged victims.

Leroy was arraigned Friday and released on $40,000 unsecured bond.

State officials suspended Leroy's medical license on May 8.
