Lawsuit Filed in “Jackass” Star Crash

The parents of the man killed in the crash that took the life of Ryan Dunn have filed a lawsuit against Dunn's estate.

The parents of 30-year-old Zachary Hartwell, the passenger killed along with Ryan Dunn in a car crash on June 20, 2011 are suing the estate of the late "Jackass" star, reports Examiner.com.

The lawsuit claims that Dunn, 34, was extremely drunk and driving 132 mph when his Porsche flew over a guardrail in West Goshen, slammed into a tree and burst into flames, according to Examiner.com.

The crash happened at 2:30 a.m. near the Pottstown exit on Route 322. Hartwell's house is less than 100 yards from the exit ramp.

Hartwell's parents are suing Dunn's estate and the bar where the late actor had been drinking before the crash. They claim Barnaby's West Chester was negligent in serving Dunn after it was obvious that he had already had too much, reports Examiner.com.

The manager of Barnaby's told NBC10 that Dunn left the bar around 2 a.m. and didn't appear to be drunk before he left.

Bam Margera's mother, April Margera, told NBC10 Dunn was a fast driver and that she told him to slow down everyday following a bad accident he was involved in more than a decade ago.

Bam Margera told NBC10's Tim Furlong about a week after the crash that he cried so much he "ran out of tears" for his best friend Ryan Dunn.
