Officials say approximately 25 children at a Jersey City day care center are being evaluated for accidental bleach ingestion.
Five ambulances are on the scene at Growing Tree Learning Center II on Fifth Street Thursday.
Jersey City Medical Center EMS director Rob Luckritz tells The Star-Ledger of Newark none of the patients appear to be in life-threatening danger, but officials are still evaluating.
Daycare center director Sandra Vasquez tells the newspaper parents have been notified. She did not provide any information about the incident.
