A judge has scheduled a meeting with attorneys in the prosecution of a man accused of leading a heroin-trafficking ring in southern Delaware.
Friday's office conference involves the state's charges against Deangelo McGlotten of Felton.
Authorities have alleged that McGlotten was the ring leader of the drug distribution network that was busted last year after a two-year investigation, resulting in charges against 13 people and the seizure of roughly three pounds of heroin valued at more than $1 million.
Authorities have said the illegal proceeds the drug sales were laundered by a Georgetown man, Salman Choudhary, through casinos, businesses, and personal properties.
