A woman fought off a man trying to rob her while she jogged near a South Jersey high school Thursday evening.

Galloway Township Police rushed to the area of Wrangleboro Road and High School Drive – that’s a short distance from Absegami High School – around 5:45 after receiving a 911 call about an attack on a woman jogging in the area.

The jogger – a 26-year-old from Galloway – was jogging when a man attacked her from behind and tried to grab her cellphone, said police. The woman fought off her attacker but in the process was thrown to the ground, causing minor injuries, said police. [[382457531, C]]
