An accident that involved a tractor trailer caused problems on a major roadway in Montgomery County Thursday morning.
State Police say the accident involving the tractor trailer and two other vehicles happened around 4:45 a.m. and caused the tractor to jackknife
The jackknifed tractor trailer spilled some fuel on the road and blocked all lanes on the northbound side of the Northeast Extension near Lansdale for a majority of the morning commute.
All lanes on the Northeast Extension's northbound side have been reopened between the Lansdale and Quakertown exits.
Traffic, which backed up for five miles, is moving freely.
