Flames ripped through a Philadelphia restaurant overnight leaving the Asian eatery a complete loss.
Fire broke out – flames shooting through the roof – around 1 a.m. at the House of Jin on W Chelten Ave at Pulaski Avenue in the city’s Germantown neighborhood.
It took firefighters about one hour to get the blaze under control but hours later they remained on the scene dousing hot spots. The fire left the inside of the restaurant charred and the roof destroyed.
No injuries were reported at the popular sushi and Chinese food spot.
“House of Jin is the go to spot for the best Chinese dishes in the Philadelphia, PA area,” says its website. “They pride themselves on offering you the best food and delivery service.”
Firefighters didn’t immediately reveal a possible cause for the fire.
