State Troopers managed to capture three horses and a pony that were spotted running on the Atlantic City Expressway.
Traffic was backed up on the expressway after the animals were spotted in the area of milemarker 40 near the Winslow/Gloucester Township Exit.
State Troopers were able to round the animals up after they stood in a grassy area near the road. Investigators say the animals escaped from a local farm and the farmer showed up to help police capture them.
The animals were not hurt during the ordeal and are currently back on the farm.
