New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is keeping his focus on higher education.
The governor is scheduled to attend a ground breaking ceremony for a chemistry building on Rutgers University's Piscataway campus Monday.
Last week, Christie helped launch a $6.7 million renovation of Essex County College's Martin Luther King Jr. Library that is being funded by a bond act approved by voters in 2012.
The governor also attended a groundbreaking at William Paterson University in Wayne for a new academic building that was also funded by the bond act.
Christie has been touring schools that are using the money to help fund projects. He said the investments will help ease overcrowding and improve access and the quality of education at schools across the state.
