A 40-year-old South Jersey man stands accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old who he part-time cared for in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Haverford Township Police arrested Michael Goodwin after a brief investigation found that the Swedesboro, New Jersey resident, originally from the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia, molested that 5-year-old in the victim’s home.
Police asked anyone with more information about Goodwin to contact Detective Mark Johnson at 610-853-1298, ext.1234.
A Magisterial Court judge arraigned Goodwin Tuesday on aggravated assault on a child, indecent assault on a child, deviate sexual intercourse, child endangerment and related charges and sent Goodwin to county jail after he was unable to post $75,000 bail.
No attorney was listed for Goodwin.
