A high school softball coach and substitute teacher was arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with one of his students.
David Light, 33, of Gloucester City, is charged with four counts each of second-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.
Light, a teacher at Gloucester City High School, allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student at the school between May, 2008 and December, 2008. Police say Light was the teen girl’s softball coach as well as a substitute teacher at Gloucester High School.
Light was taken into custody Friday. His bail is set at $200,000.
