The Pennsylvania Treasury Department returned $86 million in unclaimed property in 2008 and they have lots of unclaimed property and money that they hope to distribute this year.
Each year, the Pennsylvania Treasury Department receives millions of dollars in new unclaimed property and you may receive a letter that entitles you to some of it, according to Treasurer Robert M. McCord.

To find out if you have a slice of the unclaimed pie, you can visit the Pa Treasury’s website or call the toll-free claims hotline at 1-800-222-2046, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
New Jersey Residents can visit the New Jersey Residents Database.
Delaware Residents can visit the State Database of Unclaimed Property.
