Frosty: Philadelphia Region Deals With Freeze Warning

There is frost on the pumpkins around Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware Monday morning.

For the second night in a row, temperatures dropped below freezing in some parts leaving frost on windshields and folks warming up cars before getting going to start the work week.

The National Weather Service issued a Freeze Warning for the entire Philadelphia region that expired at 9 a.m. Temps dipped into the 20s in the suburbs before sunrise.

The sub-freezing temperatures means the end for all plants and vegetables that are sensitive to the cold.

Some mountains in the Poconos even used the cold October temps to make snow as they prepare for ski season. And, some light snow even fell in parts of Pennsylvania on Sunday.
