Little Fly Girl Gets a Standing O at Game 4

Pint-sized fan invited to Finals after video of her goes viral

"Let's Go Flyers, Let's Go Flyyyerrs" young Natalie D'Alfonso yelled into a microphone Friday night.

From her dad's arms, the 3-year-old commanded the capacity crowd at the Wachovia Center -- leading a cheer for her favorite hockey team.

Natalie has become a cheerleader of sorts for the nation of Orange and Black ever since her mom posted a video of the tyke on YouTube two weeks ago.

In the video, the toddler rattles off the Flyers line -- player and his number -- like child's play. The feat caught the attention of every media outlet in the city -- including NBC Philadelphia.

Interviews happened, hearts were grabbed and before we knew it Flyers chairman Ed Snyder was asking us for the family's number so he could invite her to Game 4.

Natalie was thrilled. And obviously so were her parents who have instilled three generations worth of Flyers pride in the girl.

"Awesome," exclaimed Chris, her dad. "I mean, what can you say? It's the Stanley Cup Finals."

But, it was uncle Bob who schooled her on the Flyers roster. Each night for several weeks, he would teach the girl a player.

"He kept going over the names with her night after night and adding one or two here and there and now she knows most of the lineup," Chris said.

That hard work really paid off. Before the game, Natalie and family had dinner with Snyder, got a tour of the penalty box and took pictures with the Prince of Wales trophy -- that's in honor of the Flyers' Eastern Conference win for you non-hockey fans.

The Prince of Wales trophy is good and all, but Natalie won't be satisfied until another shiny cup is wheeled down Broad Street.

"Bring home the cup, boys," Natalie said.
