A new drive-in restaurant is opening in Northeast Philadelphia and the company says it will be the first of up to 35 new locations it will open in the local market over the next five years.
"We should open three to five restaurants this year," said John Palumbo, director of franchise development for Checkers & Rally's East Coast division. "That clip, 5 restaurants opening in that area over the next 5 years consecutively, should continue."
Tampa, Florida-based Checkers & Rally's already has more than 15 locations in the Greater Philadelphia region, according to the company website.
