Fire tore through the Henry on the Park apartment complex in Roxborough on Tuesday night leaving eight families without a home.
The two-alarm fire on the 7900 block of Henry Avenue began on the fifth floor.
Several people were treated for smoke inhalation and one fire fighter was treated for a leg injury.
Authorities are trying to figure out how the fire started and the scene is now under investigation by an arson team.
