Fire Displaces 2 Families

A blaze broke out overnight forcing two families out of their homes during some of the coldest weather the area has had in years.

The two-alarm fire began in a home on the 1400 block of Norris Street in Camden around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, according to officials.

It spread to a neighboring house before firefighters got it under control.

Some people were transported to Virtua Hospital for treatment. The number of victims and extent of their injuries is unknown.
