Fire Burns at Large Bethlehem Business

Thick, black smoke poured from the roof of a large commercial building in Bethlehem Thursday afternoon.

Officials said the fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. along the 3400 block of Commerce Center Boulevard in a building that is under construction.

Fire crews from three counties responded to fight the stubborn fire. Tankers were brought in to pump water into supply pools near the fire.

Everyone was able to get out of the building. 

Fire crews were able to bring the large fire under control late Thursday, but staying into the morning to put water on hot spots.
