Authorities are investigating after a fire broke out at the Allen Harim poultry processing plant in Harbeson.
Media outlets report that firefighters were called to the plant Tuesday afternoon. Milton Volunteer Fire Company spokesman Jay Clarke says the fire was contained in about 30 minutes and no injuries were reported.
Allen Harim said in a statement that the fire occurred in a utility building in the rear of the plant. The company says the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire and has cleared Allen Harim to resume production.
Allen Harim spokesman Robbie Raffish says there was no loss of inventory or livestock because of the fire.
