FBI Seeks Suspect in 2 Pennsylvania Bank Heists Who Claimed to Have Bomb

The FBI has released surveillance photos of a man they believe robbed two Pittsburgh-area banks in about an hour by claiming to have a bomb with him.

The suspect robbed the First Commonwealth Bank in the city's Lawrenceville section just after 1 p.m. Tuesday before hitting a PNC Bank branch in neighboring Penn Hills just after 2 p.m.

The suspect is a male with a scraggly beard, glasses, who was wearing a red knit cap with a Pittsburgh Steelers logo. The man also wore a black jacket with a red stripe on each sleeve and Air Jordan basketball shoes. Investigators believe he's about 6-foot-2 and thin.

Investigators aren't saying how much money the man took from each bank.
