FBI Raids Second Pennsylvania City Hall in a Week

Federal agents are searching a second Pennsylvania city hall a week after questioning officials and hauling documents out of Allentown's government offices.

The FBI confirmed Friday's search at Reading City Hall but declined to comment further.

City Clerk Linda Kelleher tells the Reading Eagle agents were seeking items related to political consultant Michael Fleck and one of his employees.

Fleck was the campaign manager for Reading Mayor Vaughn Spencer and Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski's now-suspended Senate campaign.

Fleck recently closed his consulting firm and moved out of Allentown on Wednesday. The Morning Call reports his cellphone has been disconnected.

A phone number listed on Fleck's website links to a fax machine. He didn't immediately respond to a message sent through LinkedIn.
