Teen Posts Girls' Facebook Photos as Porn: Cops

19-year-old charged with child porn, related charges after he allegedly took Facebook photos and turned them into porn

A Wayne, Pa. teenager is accused of using an alias to swipe teenage girls’ Facebook photos that police say he took photos of his erect penis next to the girls and posted those photos on another Facebook page.

Four girls (three minors and an 18 year-old) went to Radnor Township Police on Feb. 29 to accuse a Facebook user by the name of "Matt Hemcher" of posting the penis photos to Facebook, according to a criminal complaint that NBC10 obtained from Radnor Township Police.

"That information led us to getting a search warrant," said Sgt. George Smith with Radnor Township police.

That search warrant led police to Neil Geckle, 19, of Wayne who police say admitted to creating a Facebook page under the name "Matt Hemcher."

Geckle, who attended Radnor High School, turned himself into police Thursday morning.

He was arraigned on multiple charges of child porn, designing obscene materials, depicting a computer sex act on a child and other charges, according to court documents.

NBC10's Rosemary Connnors tried Thursday night to track down Geckle's family at two addresses. No one answered the door. Police say Geckle lived with his grandmother and used her computer, that he had a vague profile and went through friends of friends on Facebook to ultimately find the girls' pictures.

According to an affidavit obtained by NBC10 police found the printed photos of 13 different girls in a folder in Geckle's bedroom. Many of the photos were the same ones that were allegedly posted with Geckle's erect penis superimposed in the foreground.

"I think it's disgusting -- it's terrible," one parent told Connors.

Geckle was sent to county prison, unable to post $100,000 cash bail, police said.
