An underground explosion cut power to several streets in South Philadelphia Wednesday night.
The explosion happened near 10th and Tree Streets around 10:30 pm.
PECO says about 5-thousand customers were left in the dark. Power was restored around midnight.
No word yet on what caused the blast.
