Mom Sues Her Own Son, Former Pa. Lawmaker

An ex-Pennsylvania lawmaker is being sued by his mother for allegedly using her name to open a credit account and racking up nearly $30,000 in charges.

Sharlene Watazychyn filed the lawsuit against former state Rep. Jesse White on Thursday in Washington County Court.

She says White forged her signature to cash credit line checks and made numerous charges including Pittsburgh Penguins season tickets and his Las Vegas wedding.

White lost in November after four terms. He was criticized during the campaign for allegedly using assumed online personas to attack opponents.

White told KDKA-TV his mother has a vendetta against him and has "clearly lost it."

He says he was authorized to use the account, is making payments on the balance and is confident he'll prevail.
