The etching takes only a few minutes, is noticeable to car thieves and has proven effective in the fight against vehicle theft.
The free event is sponsored by AAA, Philadelphia Police and the Pa. Auto Theft Protection Authority from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Be sure to bring your valid driver's license, registration and proof of insurance.
