Delaware County-by-County Forecasts for Monday
New Castle County: A winter weather advisory is in effect from midnight tonight until 6 p.m. on Monday. A mix of rain and snow will begin to fall shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday. The mix will continue Monday morning through Monday afternoon. It will then change to snow between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. and then back to a wintry mix after 5 p.m. The mix will then change back to snow between 8 p.m. to midnight. An accumulation of 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected.
Kent County: A winter weather advisory is in effect from midnight tonight until 6 p.m. on Monday. Light rain will begin to fall Sunday night. By Monday morning, a light wintry mix will fall and continue into the night. A half an inch to an inch of snow is expected.
Sussex County: A winter weather advisory is in effect from midnight tonight until 6 p.m. on Monday. A coastal flood advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday. Light rain will begin to fall Sunday night into Monday morning. The light rain should turn to a light wintry mix Monday night. Little snow accumulation is expected.
