Two siblings were hit Monday night, one was dragged for blocks. The driver: an elderly woman.
A woman inside her Lawncrest home said she heard screaming so she ran out to the street where she found a teenage boy writhing in pain on the ground.
The woman said the boy had burn marks on his face and was crying for help.
Police said the boy's sister was blocks away and that a woman in her 80s hit them both.
Investigators said the elderly driver later told them she thought she may have hit a deer; yet, she kept driving anyway -- dragging the boy for a few blocks.
The teenager is in critical condition at St. Christopher's Hospital; his sister is stable there.
Police have not yet charged the elderly driver, but L & I condemned her house after she was interviewed.
