Eagles Linebacker Connor Barwin on His Unique Endorsement Deal and Riding His Bike to Work

Philadelphia Eagles fans know Connor Barwin as big old No. 98, a linebacker who's already racked up six sacks this season.

What you may not know is that Barwin lives his life with sustainability in mind. He rides his bike to work or takes the No. 17 bus. He forgoes the huge home in New Jersey in favor of city digs in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood. He even drives an electric Tesla car. This Eagle certainly lives green.

That mindfulness for sustainability helped Barwin land an endorsement deal with NRG, the Princeton, N.J. based company that put solar panels on Lincoln Financial Field (and five other NFL stadiums.)

He even went to Haiti with NRG last February to help install solar panels on an orphanage and work on providing sustainable power in a region that's still reeling from a devastating 2010 earthquake. Read more about Barwin's lifestyle at PBJ.com
