Police say 11 ducklings trapped in a storm drain in New Jersey have been rescued and returned to their mother.
The ducklings were stuck in a pipe under a street in Neptune Township Sunday afternoon.
Residents found the birds after noticing their mother appeared to be in distress.
Police say rescuers- including police, the Department of Public Works and the Humane Society- had to climb into two storm drains to lure the ducklings into nets.
All the ducklings were rescued unharmed.
