A northeastern Pennsylvania high school vice principal is on unpaid leave after police say he was so drunk and disorderly it took three officers and a stun gun to subdue him.
The Pocono Record reports East Stroudsburg South High School Vice Principal David Evans was charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a Blakely officer while drunk.
Police were called to 48-year-old Evans' Peckville home early Saturday morning over a report of a man vomiting in the yard. When officers arrived, police say, they found Evans yelling obscenities and threatening emergency responders.
An affidavit says Evans shoved and punched an officer and refused to be handcuffed. An officer eventually had to use a stun gun on Evans.
A call seeking comment from Evans at his home number rang unanswered. No lawyer information is listed in online court documents.
