New Jersey Man's Cocaine Case on the Move

The possible drug possession prosecution of a New Jersey man is being moved to another county because of a possible conflict of interest with prosecutors that the suspect may sue over a ruling over his parents' deaths.

Forty-one-year-old Matthew Sheridan was charged in Montgomery Township on Sept. 28 with cocaine possession.

His arrest came hours after his parents John and Joyce Sheridan died.

Authorities have ruled that the John Sheridan, a former state government official who was running Cooper Health System, killed his wife and then himself.

Matthew Sheridan and his three brothers say the evidence does not support that finding and that they plan to sue the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.

That office said Monday that the state Attorney General was moving the case to the Somerset County.
