A driver was impaled by a pole after hitting a pedestrian in Camden City, Camden County Friday night.
The accident happened around 7:45 p.m. at 7th and Spruce Streets.
The driver hit a pedestrian, then a fence. He was impaled by a pole on the fence.
Both he and the pedestrian were taken to Cooper University Hospital with serious injuries, police said.
The accident is under investigation.
