Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed two people in downtown Philadelphia early Saturday morning.
The stabbings happened about 4:00 a.m. in Center City.
Police were called to 17th and Walnut Streets for the report of a stabbing victim. When police arrived, a 31-year-old man told officers he was stabbed at 13th and Walnut Streets. He was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical condition with a stab wound to his lower abdomen.
A short time later, officers responded to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for the report of a stabbing victim. A 27-year-old man told police he was stabbed at 12th Street and St. James Street. He was taken by taxi to Jefferson with a stab wound to his lower abdomen.
Police said both victims were stabbed by the same suspect.

So far, no arrests have been made.
