Lace up your sneakers and 'make tracks' to the Philadelphia Zoo for the Philly Rabbit Run for Parkinson's Disease. The race begins and ends at the grounds of the Philadelphia Zoo before it opens to the public. All proceeds will go to Parkinson's Research.

The Philadelphia Science Festival returns April 21-29 for it's seventh year in a row. The week long celebration includes a ton of events, but be sure to mark your calendar for the closing event on the 29th-- The Science Carnival at Penn's Landing. The event invites everyone to check out some hands-on activities and see some captivating live performances.

The Penn Relay Carnival returns for the 123rd year on April 27-29. Crowds will be making their way to Franklin Field to see some of the world's top track athletes compete. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a festival with food, crafts and relay souvenirs.

Experience the Amazon River at Adventure Aquarium when the new 'Piranha Falls' exhibit opens on April 7. Visitors will walk in to find two waterfalls, an indoor thunderstorm and 120 red-bellied piranha swimming around the installment, all without having to leave New Jersey. Sample foods from over 50 of Philadelphia's best food trucks at the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival on April 9. From fish tacos, to BBQ, to cupcakes-- there is sure to be something for everyone. The event kicks off Manayunk Restaurant Week, which runs from April 10-21.
