An 84-year-old Newark, Del. Doctor is accused of making unlawful sexual contact with a patient.
According to a press release put out by Newark Police Monday, Dr. Pierre Leroy of E. Main Street was arrested Friday on five counts of unlawful sexual contact. He was released after posting $2,500 secured bond.
Police say that a 35-year-old woman reported on April 16 that four days earlier Leroy made unlawful sexual contact with her during an examination. After that report, cops investigated Leroy and eventually arrested him.
Leroy was notified Monday morning that he has 24 hours to respond to an emergency motion to suspend his medical license that was being considered by the state, a Department of State spokesman told NBC10.
