The legislation to be voted on Tuesday calls for $10 million in initial financing for the Transportation Infrastructure Investment Fund.
Supporters say the fund, proposed by Gov. John Carney, could be quickly tapped for economic development projects.
The fund would be used for renovation, construction and other road and transportation improvements with the goal of attracting new businesses or helping existing businesses expand.
