A Delaware man didn't pick up the phone when his home caught fire Tuesday morning, he ran to the fire house to alert fire fighters.
The fire broke out along North Old Baltimore Pike in Christiana, Delaware and reached two alarms before crews were able to put out the flames.
The home is about 100 yards from the fire house, where the man ran to alert fire fighters.
Heavy fire destroyed the single family home where the man lived.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators were looking into a cause of the fire.
