Construction Worker Dies After 80-Foot Fall From University City Building

A construction worker died after a fall from a University City building Friday morning.

Philadelphia Police responded to the 2900 block of Chestnut Street around 8:10 p.m. after a 42-year-old man fell about 80 feet.

The man died a short time later.

No word yet on what led to the deadly incident.

The site is where the FMC Tower at Cira Centre South is being built.
