Cell phone cam shows women allowing & encouraging 3-year-olds to fight while at Dover day care, police say

Authorities suspended a Delaware day care after three adults at the day care allegedly encouraged a couple of 3-year-olds to fight one another.

The alleged tike fight took place in March at the Hands of Our Future LLC Daycare at 868 S State St. in Dover, according to Dover Police.

Police say cell phone video shows three women working at the day care encouraging the kids to fight.

Police say they arrested Tiana Harris, 19, of Forrest Creek Drive in Dover; Estefania Myers, 21, of Dickens Lane in Felton; and Lisa Parker, 47, of S Governors Boulevard in Dover. All three women face two counts each of second-degree assault and reckless endangerment as well as nine counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count each of conspiracy.

The city business license for Hands of Our Future was suspended pending a hearing, police said.

A meeting is scheduled for day care families only at 6 p.m. Monday night at the Dover Police station to answer parents’ questions about the alleged incident.
