An Upper Darby father is behind bars Friday after he beat his daughter with a metal pot Tuesday, police said.
The Delaware County Daily Times reports that Timothy Radel and the 14-year-old victim's mother were arguing when the girl attempted to come to her mother’s aid. It was then that her father turned on her and allegedly began hitting her in the head with a pot.
Upper Darby Police say that the victim suffered from cuts along her hairline and profuse bleeding, according to the Delco Times.
The 43-year-old father facing multiple charges. His bail is 10-percent of $50,000.
