Celebrations Around the World Coming to the Revitalized Penn Museum

On Dec. 7, join the Penn Museum and NBC10 / Telemundo62 for a special celebration of cultures from around the world!

The Penn Museum will host "Celebrations Around the World," part of its CultureFest series, on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During this day of special performances, you can join a holiday sing-along, watch musical and dance performances and even get hands-on with language workshops, craft-making, sari-wrapping and henna application.

You can also take a look at the revitalized galleries that the museum has just debuted, including a new home for its 13-ton sphinx.

CultureFest is included with museum admission. Admission is free for museum members, PennCard holders, active duty or reservist personnel in the U.S. military and veterans.
