Crews were on the scene Friday morning of a fire at a North Philadelphia corner store.
The two-alarm blaze began around midnight at a building on 15th and Clearfield. Authorities say the intense heat caused the walls of the three-story building, which includes the Wesley Mini Market, to collapse.
Firefighters were able to control the blaze shortly after 12:30 a.m. While seven nearby buildings were evacuated, no one was injured.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
